1988年WGP500デビュー＆フル参戦、ランキング3位。
1989年WGP500、ランキング2位。
1990年WGP500、チャンピオン！
1991年WGP500、チャンピオン！
1992年WGP500、チャンピオン！
1993年WGP500、ランキング2位。
この年のイタリアGPの事故で、下半身不随となり引退。
